I literally dropped the show mid season 5 because I simply stopped caring about new episodes.įor the new 'Lauren Faust' game, it looks not too bad, the engine is good, the character concepts and world building is cute and fun. I was just mentioning it because it makes a huge difference if you start at S1E1 or just somewhere randomly in season 5. A little bit of an anti-thesis to Mahou Shoujo Madoka, breaking genre conventions, etc I like the original concept, which was rather innovative, entertaining and full of pop culture and at the same time quite the positive attitude.

I dont think Ive ever disliked something this much after such little actual exposure to it. The thing about MLP is that I started off hearing about it and laughing if off, and then I KEPT hearing about it and got became annoyed that I couldnt escape the damn thing (even irl as many of my friends became fans) and then I FINALLY cave in and watch some of the damn thing and its not even that good. There was no escape, everyone was either obsessing over or openly despising a simple little girl's show. THOSE, of all things? Like a year ago or so you couldn't switch a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ page in your browser without seeing some MLP ♥♥♥♥, it was plastered everywhere.
